The ritual
First light
Trim the wick to ¼ inch and give the first burn a full two hours — until the melt pool reaches the edge of the jar. Beeswax has memory; this first pool sets up every burn after.
Every burn
Re-trim before each lighting and clear away any burnt remnants for a clean, pure flame. Your self-trimming, lead-free wick does most of the work — a quick check keeps it perfect.
The last inch
When about ½ inch of wax remains, retire the candle. Wash the jar with warm, soapy water and give it a second life — our glass is made to be reused.
